SHAKE YOUR HIPS - Slim Harpo
snuh:
Slim Harpo: Shake Your Hips
The Rolling Stones covered this on Exile On Main Street, but the original just can’t be beat - Slim drives it through like a freight train barreling down the track.
Don’t move your head
Don’t move your hands
Don’t move your lips
Just shake your hips

MONEY (That’s What I Want) - Barret Strong (1959)
Barret Strong / Money (That’s What I Want)
1959
This is the original. Written by Tamla founder Berry Gordy and Janie Bradford, Money (That’s What I Want) would become the first hit record for Gordy’s Motown enterprise.
According to Wiki this song has been covered by a ton of people including Buddy Guy, The Beatles, John Lennon during his solo career, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, and plenty more.
Basically I bolded the ones that I haven’t heard yet and want to hear. I didn’t know Zeppelin or the Doors covered it. Most likely live, which means it will take a bit of searching but I will find them, and when I do, I’ll post them.
