BEN WISHAW AS KEITH RICHARDS

“Stoned” is the movie in which I discovered Ben Whishaw a few years ago. As a Rolling Stones fan I liked the idea that he played Keith Richards. I became fascinated, saw all of his films, and wished I saw him in Hamlet and all his works on stage. I thought, what a gem of an actor. Special. Soulful. Now he’s the new Q - everybody wants a piece of him and he’s at risk of being typecast as a cute geek. But he’s really more than that. I hope he continues to make smart choices in his career as an actor. I can’t wait to finally see him on stage next year in “Peter and Alice” at the West End.
